Inter Miami CF and Main Partner Royal Caribbean continued their shared commitment to creating meaningful experiences for children and families, joining global nonprofit Make-A-Wish for the third consecutive year to grant the wishes of 23 children with critical illnesses. The multi-day experience, held October 19 to 21, brought together the excitement of a Royal Caribbean vacation aboard Wonder of the Seas and a special day at Nu Stadium, Inter Miami CF’s new world-class home in the heart of Miami.

Born in South Florida, Inter Miami CF and Royal Caribbean have grown their presence far beyond their hometown to the global stage, while maintaining a strong connection to the community they call home. Both organizations share a commitment to using their platforms to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. Through their ongoing collaboration with Make-A-Wish, the two organizations have brought that commitment to life by creating meaningful experiences for wish children, celebrating their wishes and giving families moments of joy to cherish for years to come. Across the three editions of the initiative, Inter Miami CF and Royal Caribbean have helped grant 77 wishes to children through Make-A-Wish.

“At Royal Caribbean, we believe in the power of shared experiences to bring families closer and create lasting memories,” said Kara Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer, Royal Caribbean. “We’re honored to continue our partnership with Make-A-Wish and Inter Miami CF for a third year, delivering joy and meaningful moments to children and families facing critical illnesses.”

The experience began on Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas as part of the vacation brand’s multi-year Wishes at Sea program with Make-A-Wish. On Wonder, families enjoyed a special day making core memories filled with unforgettable experiences, from racing down the Ultimate Abyss—the tallest slide at sea—to savoring delicious bites and taking in jaw-dropping entertainment at the AquaTheater.

On October 20, the experience continued at Nu Stadium, where the children were welcomed into the home of the 2025 MLS Cup champions for a day celebrating the power of fútbol to inspire and create lasting memories. They had the opportunity to observe an Inter Miami CF First Team open training session alongside the Club’s Season Ticket Members, offering a special behind-the-scenes look at the team on the pitch. One of the day’s most memorable moments came when the children joined the entire Inter Miami CF First Team for a group photo inside the team’s locker room. They also shared heartwarming interactions with their fútbol heroes, including Leo Messi, Luis Suárez, Rodrigo De Paul, Casemiro, Ian Fray and Yannick Bright, among others, making the experience an unforgettable opportunity to connect with the players they love. The children also stepped onto the pitch for photos alongside Inter Miami’s 2025 MLS Cup trophy and took on the role of reporters during a special press conference, interviewing Inter Miami CF players Fray, Bright and Dayne St. Clair.

Adding another special touch to the day, each child received a mock Inter Miami CF player contract presented by the Club’s Sporting Director, Alberto Marrero, giving each child a special reminder of their day as part of the Inter Miami CF family. The day also included a private shopping experience at the Inter Miami CF Official Team Store, the largest team store in MLS, featuring two floors of merchandise for the entire family. The children had the opportunity to select special Club gear to take home and remember their visit.

“Together with Royal Caribbean, we’re proud to bring this Make-A-Wish initiative to life for the third consecutive year,” said Camila Jocelyn-Holt, Inter Miami CF Director of Community Engagement. “Welcoming these children and their families to Nu Stadium and sharing moments of joy with them was truly meaningful. We hope this experience brings them happiness, gives their families a chance to make lasting memories together, and reminds them that their wishes matter.”

The impact of a wish extends far beyond the experience itself. For children facing critical illnesses and their families, wishes can provide hope, strength, and moments of joy throughout their medical journeys. Yet, for every wish granted, two more children are waiting for their wishes to come true.

"A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes, and behind every wish is a community of people who choose to show up when families need hope most," said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “Wish experiences give children and families the chance to focus on something bigger than a diagnosis. Support from partners like Royal Caribbean and Inter Miami helps make those moments possible, creating memories and experiences that families will carry with them after the wish.”

This special initiative builds on the shared commitment of two hometown favorites: Royal Caribbean and its decades-long track record of celebrating and contributing to the destinations it visits, and Inter Miami’s commitment to harnessing the power of fútbol to do good since the Club’s inception.
