- In its past match on Wednesday, Aug.3, Inter Miami earned a key win for its playoff hopes and kept a clean sheet on the road when it topped the San Jose Earthquakes 0-1 at PayPal Park. Heineken Man of the Match Jean Mota scored the winning goal with a long-range effort in the first half to give the team the win in its first-ever clash against the Earthquakes. The goal was Mota’s first in MLS, and second across all competitions for Inter Miami.
